(B.A.Sc., Metallurgical Engineering, UBC)
In 1980, Harvey brought to BME eight years of experience in the steel industry, in both foundry work and manufacture of fasteners. He, of course, is our guru in these areas, but over the subsequent two decades has tackled a very wide range of mechanical and materials failure studies.
Analysis of medical device failures is an outstanding contribution Harvey makes to the firm. All engineering aspects of motor vehicle accident reconstruction have developed as a major area of Harvey’s work. He is part of our fire causation analysis team. He directs our work on slip and fall testing.
